Before saying anything , let me just say sorry for handing in this late.
Okay now to me , I find this song very meaning full. It is talking about how selfish people are , thinking only about themselves. Selfish people lead to wars and countries doing things which kill many innocent people. Selfish people lead to terrorists bombings , killing people. Selfish people do things to make their lives easier , better or cause they just like it. They don't think about what bad things they are bringing to others people. As everyone has been selfish once in their lives , so this song by the Black Eyed Peas is here to remind us that we should not be selfish. It brings harm.This song also tells us about how some people , in order to earn a quick buck , polluting nature. More green house gases , killing our earth. This song constantly reminds us that we only have one place to make friends on , one place to thrive on , and only one place to call home. That is our place , our home , mother earth. If we do not take care of her , we risk losing her , and our one and only home, and without that, in simple words we're screwed.
So , in my opinion , I think that this song is constantly telling us we can't be selfish. It causes other people to be hurt. It also hurts our one and only home. So to make a long story short , don't be selfish (:
I noticed that you forgot to mention the song name. It's 'Where is the love' by black eye peas. The song had showed realistic problems happening on mother earth! Wars and fights, discrimination and prejudice,pollution of mother earth, are problems we, the selfish humans, had made. Problems will surface more problems and i believe that we would be punish for our selfish motive. Due to pollution, many disaster such as the Haiti Earthquakes, recent floods in Australia, Singapore (a place that natural disaster would not happen) had small floods in Orchard. This are signs of problems surfaced by our wrongdoing. Of course, there wouldn't be a complete peace, however, every little efforts by individuals would make the world a better place.
